Suman grew up in a devout Hindu family and spent many years earnestly seeking truth and meaning. As a young adult, he became involved in a movement that was strongly opposed to Christianity. In 2003, he experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. Because of significant social pressure and personal risk, he initially practiced his faith privately before publicly committing his life to Christ in 2005.
In 2007, Suman sensed a clear calling to share the Good News and serve others through ministry. He has since completed theological and leadership training and has served in pastoral ministry as well as in Bible translation work.
Suman currently serves with Worldwide Discipleship Association (WDA), focusing on equipping disciple-makers and strengthening mature, Christ-centered leadership within the local Church. He is passionate about seeing discipleship that leads to lasting transformation and greater glory to God.
Suman is married and has two children, and he enjoys travel, agriculture, and recreational activities.
