Abby McFarlin-Knight
Finance Manager
Headquarters Team, Fayetteville, GA US.

It is a true honor to serve as a staff member with Worldwide Discipleship Association. In August 2016, the Lord opened the door for me to join WDA Headquarters as a Bookkeeper, and in 2024 I stepped into the role of Finance Manager. I am continually grateful for how God has woven my calling into His greater work through this ministry.
I sensed God’s call into missions in 1997. Though my journey included seasons of waiting and detours, I prayed for many years that the Lord would once again place me on that path. Serving with WDA is a beautiful reminder that God is faithful and never forgets His promises. Through this role, I am blessed to support the work of the field while also participating firsthand in what God is doing among the nations.
As Finance Manager, I steward WDA’s financial resources with care and integrity, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and compliance. I am part of the Headquarters team that enables our missionaries to focus fully on the work God has called them to—free from concerns about payroll, taxes, and donation reporting. Much like a racing team supports the driver, my role is behind the scenes, helping ensure that everything is in place so the mission can move forward effectively.
The Lord has also allowed me to travel in service to the ministry—visiting Chennai, India in 2022 and Nairobi, Kenya in 2023, with plans to return to Kenya in March 2026. It is my prayer to one day serve in India again, as well as visit the Philippines, Uganda, and Zambia for the first time.
My husband, Brennen, and I live in Newnan, Georgia, and together we are blessed with six children and a growing family that now includes our grandson, Wyatt Cash. We love our church, cherish time at home with family, and enjoy cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
God has done significant restorative work in my own life through the Restoring Your Heart process, and in 2024 I had the privilege of participating in WDA’s Created with Needs class alongside the women of Headquarters. The Lord continues to heal and restore the broken places in my life, and I am deeply grateful for who He is shaping me to be through His grace.
I am sincerely thankful for those who support my family in prayer and partnership, allowing me to continue serving WDA and our Lord Jesus Christ.
