Ashley has a heart for helping through creativity. She has been an artist since she was a child and always enjoyed sharing the gift of the visual arts with others. She went to Georgia State University for her undergraduate and graduate studies where she majored in Studio Art and Art Education. She has now joined the staff of WDA as their Communications Coordinator. Her desire is that people would come to know Jesus deeply for themselves. 

She grew up in a Christian home and received Christ as her Lord and Savior at an altar call when she was six. Around fifteen years of age she knew she wanted to really commit to taking her relationship with God seriously. She decided to get baptized at eighteen as a public declaration of her faith. She has served in her local church for twelve years in both the youth and worship departments. 

Some of her favorite things to do are breaking bread with family and friends and going to the park with her rescue dog, Oden. She and her husband, Zack, live right outside of Atlanta, GA, and are still newlyweds with a little less than 4 years of marriage under their belt.

As WDA’s Communications Coordinator, Ashley serves WDA’s global staff by helping share the stories of all God is doing through them, creating tools used in training and discipleship groups, and promoting the various ministries of WDA which are transforming lives globally. She will implement communications strategies that align with WDA’s overall initiative and mission, as well as, provide updates and maintenance related to design, branding, messaging and content for WDA’s websites. Ashley will also create resource templates, apply WDA branding to new ministries and design promotional branded merchandise.
