Jules Wazeng
WDA National Director of DRC
Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa.
I am Jules Wazeng, a WDA National Director in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Centre of Christian Missions in Kitwe, Zambia and I continued my studies in a Master of Missions program.
I am a founder and president of the AMC mission school in DRC, at the Lubumbashi Headquarters. I am also a pastor leading a church, an author, a church planter, a disciple maker, and a trainer of other leaders.
My passion is to train and mobilize Christians and church leaders for the global mission in DRC (and elsewhere), and to equip and develop church leaders and mature leaders of local churches. I love working as a team to help churches renew and transform their cultures by rediscovering the beauty of basic, intentional discipleship practices.
I started working with WDA in 2012. We now train Christians in 7 different towns (Lubumbashi, Likasi, Kambove, Kolwezi, Kamina, Kasumbalesa, Bukavu) from 4 provinces of DRC. We also work in France. I help to reach others for Christ and help them grow and multiply disciples, lead small groups, do evangelism, start revivals, and train leaders. And I conduct seminars, conferences, Zoom training, and workshops, to see Christians get involved in disciple building in their local churches.
Finally, I teach WDA materials at the AMC mission school to impact many with discipleship teachings. I find there is a great need is to train church leaders to do discipleship ministry in their local churches. To reach all of these Christian leaders, I make several trips almost every month to different places. I am always on the move doing ministry and mission.
