Nila (Shanabarger) Duffitt began her ministry with WDA discipling young women at Purdue University over 25 years ago. She now serves as the chief editor of WDA’s publishing team. Nila is a trained Restoring Your Heart leader and enjoys teaching discipleship and restorative seminars stateside and overseas. She traveled to Mexico in 2007 and to Africa in 1994, 2000, 2006, 2010, 2017, 2022 and 2023. Additionally, Nila guides pastors as they implement discipleship ministries in their churches. 

Nila and her husband, Scott, reside in Churubusco, IN, and are active participants of Sugar Grove Church of God where they help teach Sunday school. They are also active in the community. Scott can be heard over the public address system at Churubusco High School baseball and football games. Nila serves as his assistant. Nila is also the treasurer for the Churubusco Chamber of Commerce and on the board of the Churubusco Public Library.

Nila is grateful to be a part of WDA, getting disciple building resources to people and churches all over the world, helping them grow to maturity so that they can teach others. She is also grateful for those who have given, allowing her to serve since 1995.
